Job summary

北京汉克时代科技有限公司 seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead full lifecycle PM for mass production transition at its Malaysia factory. The role requires 3+ years in electronics manufacturing PM, proficiency in Jira and MS Project, and bilingual Mandarin/English with Bahasa Malaysia a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 3 years of project/product management experience in electronics manufacturing ODM/OEM.
• Familiar with R&D and NPI (New Product Introduction) process including prototype trial and mass production.
• Proficient in MS Office and Jira; Agile documentation experience.
• Stationed at Malaysia factory; Chinese enterprise experience preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; Bahasa Malaysia a plus.

Job description

Serve as the interface between the Malaysia plant and R&D Project Managers based in Shanghai. Oversee the full-lifecycle project management for mass production transition at the Malaysia factory, including technical document handover, coordination and follow-up of engineering and material changes, feedback on design/process issues identified on production floor, defective product handling & return, and tracking of failure analysis results.

Develop transition plans and targets for projects transferred to the Malaysia plant. Coordinate resources between the Malaysia factory and CIG on-site team to ensure timely project acceptance, and deliver project transition summary reports.

Collaborate with the procurement team to source consumables and spare parts required for production, track delivery status, record relevant costs, and settle accounts with partners as agreed.

Monitor production execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams to prepare materials, equipment and manpower to guarantee smooth production execution and meet quality & delivery targets.

Participate in initiatives for operational capability improvement, process optimization and team building of the Malaysia factory; supervise resolution progress of critical quality and efficiency issues.

Regularly report project progress and risks to department supervisors, senior management and other project stakeholders.

Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the department.

Job Requirements

Full-time bachelor’s degree or above, major in Computer Science, Electronics, Communications or other related STEM disciplines.

Minimum 3 years of project / product management experience in electronics manufacturing ODM/OEM, familiar with R&D and NPI (New Product Introduction) process including prototype trial and mass production.

Proficient in MS Office (including Microsoft Project). Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile documentation management.

Stationed at Malaysia factory. Familiar with local working environment and culture. Candidates with working experience in Chinese enterprises are preferred.

Fluent in both Mandarin and English (excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing). Bahasa Malaysia capability is a plus.

Proven capability to respond quickly and handle unexpected contingencies, with outstanding communication skills.

Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous, proactive, logical and well-organized.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification.

Practical experience in optical module manufacturing process or test development.
