Responsibilities

• Estimate project costs and schedules with engineering management.
• Track parts procurement and supplier delivery; maintain ETA and backup plans.
• Coordinate between NPI, IE and external teams; manage capacity and space layouts.
• Monitor repair and maintenance progress; prepare quarterly repair/summary reports.

Job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The candidate is responsible for estimating project cost, make the schedule, drive the parts procurement progress, track project progress, check project workload/value, drive CIP account to Fixed Asset for test rigs development/building.

We expect the candidate to have project management background and industrial automation. The individual can work under high pressure, with a strong self-driven and negotiation capability.

1) Parts preparation -25%

Work with engineering team to get the rig BOM

Work with test engineer and buyer team, set an expected ETA based on the lead time feedback

Track and push the parts delivery, make use 90% parts OTD, actively look for the backup plan when find a potential delivery risk

2) Project plan/implementation - 50%

Work with engineering team to track the TRD discussion progress, control the project rhythm

Estimate the project cost and value with engineering manager, know about the project budget progress

Make the project schedule with engineering team based on resource/parts procurement and other input plan estimation

Track the rig building progress, elevate the issue when finding a potential risk

Make a summary for project quarter report, suggest reasonable parts replacement from delivery/cost

3) Coordinate between external function team -10%

Aligned with NPI & IE team on the capacity demand and provide the test rig delivery schedule

Co-work with IE team on the space layout for test rig setup & release

4) Repairing and maintenance support - 15%

Track the maintenance progress and weekly update the rig information in order to timely response the spare parts demand based on maintance

Track the repairing progress, push the progress for unclosed repairing case, make a quarterly repairing report

Education & Experience

Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Optics/Mechanics, qualified PMP is better

5+ years of project management experience in optics/semi-conduct/electronics/equipment industrial, similar with project management process, know about the project budget, project value, control the project progress

Skills & Other Requirements

English and Mandarin speaking is required in order to liaise with Shanghai team

Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently or working with others

Ability to recommend and implement improvements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Be sensitive to project risk, and actively find the backup plan

Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities

Ability to adapt in a cross-organizational, cross cultural, global team environment

Handle special assignments promptly and professionally
