Job summary

Cambridge Industries Group (CIG) is seeking graduates to join its Malaysia manufacturing facility. You will participate in onboarding and technical training in Jiashan, China, before being assigned to key operational areas such as COB Front-End, COB Back-End, Testing, Packaging & Assembly, and Quality Engineering.

You will oversee daily production activities in Malaysia, ensuring SOP compliance, product quality, and production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or science-related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of working experience are welcome to apply.
• Graduates in Optoelectronics, Electronics and Electrical Engineering are preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required; Mandarin-speaking candidates will serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities at the Malaysia manufacturing facility, ensuring SOPs, quality standards and targets are met.
• Coordinate and communicate between China headquarters and Malaysia operations to convey policies and updates.
• Participate in onboarding and technical training in Jiashan, China to understand company operations and safety procedures.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between China and Malaysia teams for smooth execution.
• Collect and report production data to management to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Participate in an onboarding and technical training program in Jiashan, China, covering company operations, business processes, technical standards, job requirements, and safety procedures to gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization.

Upon successful completion of the training, be assigned to a key operational area based on business requirements and individual qualifications, including COB Front-End Process/ COB Back-End Process/ Testing/ Packaging & Assembly/ Quality Engineering.

Oversee daily production activities at the Malaysia manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), product quality standards, and production targets.

Monitor production performance and progress, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues such as equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and other manufacturing challenges.

Act as a liaison between the China headquarters and the Malaysia operations team by communicating company policies, operational requirements, and business updates while gathering feedback and addressing local concerns.

Facilitate effective collaboration and information sharing between cross-functional teams in China and Malaysia to support smooth operational execution.

Collect, analyze, and report key production and operational data to management, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
