Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Project Manager for interior design/construction projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will support proposals, review tender documents, and coordinate with site operations to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with client requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Project Management, with 3–5 years of PM experience in fit-out or exhibition environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure specifications to clients are within the company scope and communicated to departments and teams.
• Assist in planning and allocating manpower for the team on project awards and post-sale.
• Oversee production schedules to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate with site operations for project-related issues.
• Carry out pre- and post-show costing and contract review of awarded projects.
• Assist in selecting sub-contractors and manpower.
• Resolve non-conformities as required.
• Ensure quality of productions at site.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed by management.

Job description

To work closely with Business Development personnel in all projects during the proposal stage ie. Site feasibilities studies, technical input as and when required and client interaction and presentation, preparing project costing for submission, as well as vetting through Tender/RFP documents during the proposal stage, in particularly relating to all technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that specifications offered to clients is within the scope of the Company and that client's requirements are adequately conveyed to other departments, sections and project teams are met.
• To assist in planning and allocating manpower (project supervisors/coordinators) for the team upon project award and after sales.
• Overseeing to ensure that the team production schedules are fulfilled according to client's requirement.
• Coordinating closely with site operations team for all projects related issues.
• Carrying out pre and post show costing and contract review of project awarded.
• To assist in selection sub-contractors and manpower.
• Resolve any non-conformity raise as and when required.
• Ensuring quality of productions at site.
• Undertakes other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience within the interior design, commercial fit-out, or exhibition/event build industry.
• Strong technical background with expertise in reading technical drawings, site feasibility assessments, and material specifications.
