Job summary

RH Design & Build Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead interior renovation projects across commercial and residential sectors in Malaysia. You will oversee site initiation through handover, coordinate with clients, designers, carpentry factory, suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure workmanship and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in interior renovation or project management, strong planning, communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in interior renovation, fit-out, construction or project management.
• Experience in commercial and/or residential interior renovation projects is preferred.
• Good knowledge of interior construction methods, materials and work sequencing.
• Able to understand interior design, architectural, carpentry and M&E drawings.
• Knowledge of carpentry fabrication and installation will be an advantage.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving ability.
• Able to plan ahead and manage project schedules independently.
• Good communication skills when dealing with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and workers.
• Able to manage multiple projects and subcontractors under tight deadlines.
• Responsible, organised, proactive and hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and residential interior renovation projects from site commencement to final handover.
• Plan, organise and monitor project schedules to achieve quality, timeline and cost targets.
• Coordinate closely with clients, designers, factory, suppliers, subcontractors and site workers.
• Review construction drawings, carpentry drawings, specifications, site measurements and actual site conditions before commencement.
• Plan and coordinate all trades including demolition, masonry, ceiling, electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, painting, flooring, carpentry, glass, metal works, signage and other specialist works.
• Coordinate with our carpentry factory on site measurement, production schedule, delivery and installation.
• Arrange manpower, subcontractors, materials and deliveries according to the project programme.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and required workmanship standards.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure subcontractors complete their work according to schedule.
• Identify potential site issues before they affect the project timeline or cost.

RH Design & Build Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced, responsible and hands-on Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial and residential interior renovation projects throughout Malaysia, from initial site preparation through construction, installation, handover and defect rectification.

Key responsibilities

Manage commercial and residential interior renovation projects from site commencement to final handover.
