Job summary

Eaton invites qualified project managers and project engineers to join our electrical product teams (PTU, UPS, switchgear, transformers) with openings in Selangor and Johor Bahru. You will lead projects from initiation to delivery, coordinating with service engineers and sub-contractors to meet contract requirements and budgets.

This role requires a degree in engineering, PMP certification, and at least 2 years of PM experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• PMP certification is required.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control projects to meet contract requirements and budgets.
• Collaborate with Eaton Service Engineers and manage sub-contractors per plan.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and issue invoices per milestones.
• Manage project implementation and delivery per project requirements.
• Schedule and attend project meetings at site.
• Maintain integrated costing sheets and track project expenses.
• Support contract administration: ordering, milestones, shop drawings, and O&M submissions.
• Coordinate with Customer Service/SCM on parts and lead times.
• Ensure QMS/EHS compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Job description

Hiring Project Managers and Project Engineers with project management experience for electrical product like PTU, UPS, switchgear and transformers for datacenter. There are openings in both Selangor and Johor Bahru.

Job Summary

A. Manage & control projects to meet the contract requirements and ensure cost control to meet project budget

B. Collaborate with Eaton Service Engineers and manage sub-contractors in resource deployment according to project implementation plan

C. Provide accurate and timely sales forecast and issuance of invoice per contract milestone/progressive claims

Job Responsibility

A. Manage multiple projects implementation and delivery according to each project requirements

B. Schedule and attend project meeting/discussions per project requirements

C. Maintain upto date project integrated costing sheet and traceable tracking record to account for project expenses.

D. Attendance of project meetings (technical, coordination etc) at site

E. Manage / support contract administration works (ordering, billing milestone, shop drawings & O&M submission)

F. Work with Customer Service / Supply Chain Management (SCM) team on parts ordering and lead time to meet project requirements

G. Manage sub-contractor work schedule, resource deployment and quality of work.

H. Manage customers requests during product FAT / SAT and support Service team on result obtained and report compilation

I. Be committed & responsible for Quality Management System (QMS) / Environment Health & Safety (EHS):

a. Implement the process approach and risk‑based thinking

b. Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS / EHS

c. Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS / EHS requirements

d. Ensuring the QMS / EHS meets its goals

e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS /EHS

f. Create a culture of continuous improvement

Qualification

Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline PMP - Project Management Professional Cert

At least 2 years of project management experience
