Job summary

Advancecon Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager (Civil) to lead project and site management, plan resources, monitor progress, and ensure cost control on earthwork and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities, drive quality and safety, and manage subcontractors to meet deadlines and budget.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 5–10 years in construction project management; willingness to work

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in project management within construction.
• Experience with earthwork or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

a) Project and site management

Responsible for the full spectrum of project and site-related matters

Prepare work program, schedule and plan for the project’s resources, manage the allocation efficiency

Implement and monitor all aspects of construction activities undertaken from implementation to completion of projects, including final accounts and constantly ensure project cost is kept within budget

Monitor sub-contractors’ performance, progress of works and claims

Attend site meeting with consultants and clients, and organise an internal meeting with subcontractor to resolve the technical and site logistics issues

b) Manpower management

Manpower assignment

Verification of subcontractor claims

Welfare of site personnel

c) Client and stakeholder communication

Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities on projects undertaken by the company

Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the quality system in order to strengthen the company’s position

Job requirements:

Candidates should possess a Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in handling project management in the construction industry

A candidate with prior or current experience in handling earthwork or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

Candidates must be willing to be located in Sedenak, Kulai, Johor.
