Job summary

RSM BUILDERS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take over ongoing project activities and ensure seamless progression.

You will coordinate across building, M&E and civil works, liaise with clients, consultants and authorities, and manage inspections, meetings and site valutations. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work independently on complex high-rise

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in high-rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of building, M&E and civil works.
• Experience liaising with government/statutory authorities, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Highly organised, responsible with proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong initiative.

• Attend monthly consultant meetings and manage defect liability inspections.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our ongoing project and take over the management and coordination of current project activities, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of works.

Key responsibilities

• In charge of all the on-going projects.
• To liase with clients, consultants and authorities.
• Involved in site management works in building, M & E works and civil works.
• To organise inspection to obtain approval from consultant and statutory planning authorities.
• To organise practical inspection with consultant/client.
• All variation to be analyzed prior to confirmation to check and verify the consequences upon quality, cost, programming and build ability to the work.
• To conduct weekly site meeting with Site Agent, Site Supervisor, Sub-contractors and Clerk-of-Works.
• To attend to monthly consultant's meeting.
• Periodic inspection of the work during defect liability period.
• Liase with Q.S on site valuation and certification.

About you

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in building, M&E, and civil works.
• Experienced in liaising and coordinating with government/statutory authorities, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Highly organised, dedicated, and responsible with a positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess strong initiative.
• Good project management, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
