Job summary

TCS Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead complete projects from design to handover, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will coordinate with sub-contractors, architects, consultants and authorities to deliver reliable outcomes while optimizing resources for cost efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of civil construction, and the ability to work under pressure with long hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related fields.
• Min 5 years working experience and experience in the construction of high rise and etc.
• Familiar with legal requirements and knowledgeable in environmental, safety and health practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project phases from design to completion to ensure schedule, cost and quality standards.
• Liaise closely with sub-contractors, architects, consultants and relevant authorities while guiding the team.
• Manage resource use efficiently to enhance cost-effectiveness and overall progress.
• Plan construction activities, coordinate works with clients and consultants to ensure progress per schedule.
• Control and monitor work progress and ensure quality of output.
• Conduct risk management and quality control planning for projects.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Superior.

Job description

Responsible for the effective implementation and successful completion of construction projects undertaken by the Group within schedule, cost and quality standard.

Need to liaise closely with sub-contractors, architects, consultants and relevant authorities and setting guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.

To manage each phrase of the project from design to completion and ensure efficient use of resources and enhance cost-effectiveness.

To oversee the entire process and manage all project’s operational and administration procedures.

Need to provide direction in construction planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, client and consultants to ensure overall progress based on schedule of works.

To control and monitor work progress and ensure work quality.

To do project planning, quality control planning and risk management for project.

To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior

Job Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related fields.

Min 5 years working experience and experience in the construction of high rise and etc.

Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

Familiar with legal requirements and knowledgeable in environmental, safety and health practices.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Self-motivated person and able to work independently.

Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.

Able to work under pressure and long hours.
