Job summary

TCS Group is seeking a Diploma or Degree holder in Building or Civil Engineering to join the QA/QC team in Selangor. You will coordinate inspections, compile test records, and ensure compliance with specifications, quality and safety standards on site.

Responsibilities include preparing progress reports, reading drawings, and liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams to ensure timely delivery and high workmanship. Fresh graduates are welcome; training provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Building or Civil Engineering is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in construction; fresh graduates welcome with training provided.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to prepare progress reports, monitor sites and read drawings.

• Coordinate with designers and consultants to ensure structural and architectural design performance.
• Maintain good documentation on drawing and filing systems for projects.

Job description

Coordinate and audit to ensure jobs are carried out in accordance with the required specifications, quality, and safety standards and effecting the optimum speed of construction.

Verify that required inspections and tests are completed and documented before work proceeds to subsequent stages.

Identify quality defects, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions through to closure.

Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and generate comprehensive PDI reports.

Prepare quality documentation and reports, including inspection reports, test records, and certificates.

To plan, organize, and monitor the project teams to achieve the required objective of the projects.

To liaise with the clients, consultants, subcontractors, supplier and projects teams and ensure excellent communication between all parties.

To coordinate with designers and consultants to ensure the performance of structural and architectural design.

To maintain good documentation on drawing and filing systems for the projects.

Requirement:

Diploma/Degree in Building or Civil Engineering

1-2 years of experience construction industry or Fresh graduates are welcome to apply training provided.

Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel

Able to prepare progress report, site monitoring & read drawing
