Mitraland Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (civil/architecture) to lead project development, oversee site operations and coordinate with consultants and contractors.

You will chair site and technical meetings, manage multiple projects, ensure adherence to drawings, budgets and timelines, and guide a team to deliver quality construction while providing regular progress reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture.
• 8 years of experience in property development / project management / construction.
• Experience with development planning.
• Strong leadership and ability to drive a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Project development and implementation assigned by Management, coordinating with the Marketing Dept when needed.
• Oversee project operations to meet timelines and approved budgets with consultants and contractors.
• Chair and lead site meetings and technical meetings.
• Coordinate with consultants to resolve technical matters on assigned projects.
• Review tender and construction drawings with consultants and present to management for approval.
• Lead the site supervision team to ensure works follow latest drawings and good practices.
• Coordinate between consultants and contractors to resolve site/technical matters and meet quality targets.
• Follow up on authorities’ approvals throughout development and implementation.
• Work with consultants on CCC application and approvals.
• Take lead on HOVP process, completing defect rectification on time.
• Manage multiple projects when required and prepare weekly progress updates to management.

Description du poste

• Responsible for project development & implementation assigned by Management. To work with the Marketing Dept where necessary.
• Responsible for project operations and completion within the set timelines and approved budget/contract sum through effective monitoring and coordination with the consultants and contractors.
• To chair and take lead of site meetings and technical meetings.
• To coordinate with consultants’ team and resolve technical matters of assigned projects.
• Review and coordinate with consultant team on the tender / construction drawings and details design, to present to management for approval.
• Leading the site supervision team to ensure all site work is constructed in accordance to latest construction drawings approved by management and in compliance to good engineering practices.
• Must be able to take lead in the coordination between the consultants and the appointed contractor to resolve site/technical matters, and to complete the construction work within the set time frame and ensure reasonable quality of all construction works.
• To follow up closely on all authority’s approval status throughout project development and implementation phase.
• Work closely with consultant team on CCC application and approval.
• To take lead on HOVP process especially on the completion of defects rectification within the required time frame.
• Required to handle multiple projects when necessary.
• Responsible for preparing weekly updates to management on site progress and other site related matters.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture.
• Overall working experience of 8 years in property developer / project management company / construction company. Background as main contractor or consultants will be an added value.
• Candidates must possess experience in development planning.
• Dynamic personality with problem solving capabilities who can work independently and under pressure.
• Possess strong leadership, able to drive and lead the team
• Results oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills and able to lead a team of consultants and staff on the accomplishment of tasks.
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate active reporting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Power Point and AutoCAD.
