Job summary

Protext Construction (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, supervise and deliver slope stabilization projects, coordinating across teams and ensuring safety, quality and timely completion.

The role involves close collaboration with JKR officers, consultants, subcontractors and project personnel, managing progress, costs and contractual matters to meet approved budgets and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor slope stabilisation and slope protection works to ensure completion within the approved schedule and budget.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with JKR specifications, approved drawings, method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with JKR officers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project personnel.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment and overall cost control.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements and environmental regulations.
• Manage project documentation, progress reports, claims, variation orders and contractual matters.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, construction risks and project delays.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, defect rectification and final project handover.
• Monitor project performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards and safety objectives.

Job description
