Job summary

Constructions & Decorations - Kulai, Johor is seeking a site coordination role to manage project progression and schedules on construction sites in Kulai. You will plan and execute tasks for the site team, interpret drawings and client requirements, and work with the Site Manager and project team to ensure timely completion and quality work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project within the given timeframe by assigning tasks to the site team.
• Interpret drawings and client requirements to ensure full understanding before project take-off.
• Collaborate with Site Manager and project team to develop work programmes and schedules.
• Deliver project briefings to site teams and coordinate on-site activities.
• Coordinate with main-contractor on-site coordination and technical issues.
• Develop solutions with site team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Oversee quality inspections for subcontractors to meet requirements.
• Establish comprehensive project schedules including reports and RFI/CVI documents.
• Ensure site parameters meet client requirements and submit all docs to Contract Department.
• Liaise with Site Manager on site security, safety and housekeeping.

Constructions & Decorations - Kulai, Johor

• 1. Report to Contract Manager for project progression and schedule.
• 2. Plan and execute project within the given timeframe and activity by assigning and coordinating the relevant work task/work method to be implemented on the site team (include SM/SS/SO)
• 3. Responsible to study and interpret the drawing specification and clients' requirements in detail to ascertain full understanding before the project take off.
• 4. Work with Site Manager and project team to develop and implement overall work programme and schedules, identify critical path including expedition of scheduled work progress and find a solution to the obstruction that are there to make sure that the operation is achieved timely completion and quality works.
• 5. Deliver project briefings for the site teams (including the SM/SS/SO) and work with the site teams on site to coordinate all activities and general site operations.
• 6. Liaise with other main-contractor (subject to awarded project nature of work) on site coordination and technical issues.
• 7. Coordinate with the site team to develop problem solving solution to the obstruction that are there to make sure that the operation is running smoothly.
• 8. Conduct and coordinate with Site Manager to ensure routine quality inspection on sub contractors on continual basis for operational requirement and documentation.
• 9. Establish the project schedule for operations (including progress report/daily report/NOD/site memo/work programme/RFI/CVI and all related required supporting documents or report subjected to project requirement)
• 10. Ensure site parameters are correct accordingly to client's requirement and specification. All of the client's requirement and specification must be submitted to the Contract Department.
• 11. Responsible and liaise with the SM/SSS for site security, safety and housekeeping to ensure the fulfillments of the clients and authority requirements.
