Job description

The Technical Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing infrastructure projects from initiation through to successful delivery. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing projects that focus on the implementation and enhancement of IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, data centers, and cloud services. The Technical Infrastructure Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
• Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or changes
• Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor and manage project risks, including addressing issues that arise and ensuring that project goals are achieved
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and adhere to best practices
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
• Lead and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, including experience with server, network, data center, and cloud technologies
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for IT infrastructure
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices
• Certified
