Job summary

YOFC INTERNATIONAL (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects in Malaysia. You will drive schedules, budgets, risk management, and stakeholder coordination to meet client requirements.

The role requires 2–5 years in telecom project management (OSP/FTTH/FTTO), a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields, and PMP certification is a plus. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• PMP certificate is a plus.
• 2–5 years of telecom project management experience, preferably in OSP, FTTH/FTTO.
• Ability to independently manage project execution and stakeholder coordination.

Job description

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role requires strong project management capabilities, stakeholder coordination, and technical understanding of fiber optic network deployment to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements.

Job Description :

• Responsible for overseeing the overall project status, progress, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Responsible for the execution and management of OSP, FTTH, FTTO, maintenance, and other fiber optic network deployment projects.
• Develop project schedules, resource planning, and implementation strategies to ensure project completion within timeline and budget.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations are achieved.
• Work closely with upper management, engineering, procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and adequate project support.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, resource allocation, and project performance reporting.
• Oversee material planning and utilization, including material requests, inventory control, returns, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate engineering activities, permit applications, ROW submissions, authority approvals, and related project documentation.
• Manage PAT, PAC, FAC, and other project milestones to ensure timely acceptance and project closure.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Director or Management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• Having a PMP Certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in telecommunications project management, preferably in OSP, FTTH, FTTO, or fiber optic network deployment projects.
• Proven ability to independently manage project execution, stakeholder coordination, and project delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and project reporting.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, engineering drawings, and telecommunications infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
• Able to travel when required.
