Crescendo Corporation Berhad invites applications for a Telecommunications Engineer to plan, implement, and oversee fiber optic and data center connectivity projects in Malaysia.

Join a team that analyzes drawings, specs, and requirements, then coordinates with contractors and vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and timely installations. Travel to project sites is expected to support budgeting, procurement, and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in telecom project engineering or infrastructure deployment.
• Knowledge of fiber optics, RF, microwave, IP networks, and structured cabling.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Project, and fiber testing tools.
• Willing to travel to project sites and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor telecom infrastructure projects including fiber optic installations and data center connectivity.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Supervise on-site activities and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure proper installation and commissioning.
• Perform site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments for project proposals.
• Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with safety standards, local authority requirements, and MCMC guidelines.
• Track project progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate project documentation including as-built drawings and test reports.
• Support project budgeting, procurement, and resource planning processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Attend client and coordination meetings and provide updates on project milestones and technical matters.

Familiar with industry tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, Fiber testing tools, etc.)

Understanding of civil and M&E works related to telecom infrastructure is an advantage.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Willing to travel to project sites and work under tight deadlines.
