Job summary

Businesslist is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end telecom projects across regional and international environments. You will own scope, schedule and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring governance compliance.

Travel for project support will be required, including extended overseas assignments when needed. The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and minimum 5 years of telecom PM experience; PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Telecommunications.
• Experience managing civil/OSP, network deployment, engineering construction, operations and maintenance delivery projects.
• PMP certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery per contractual obligations and approved budgets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, implementation plans, and milestones.
• Own project scope, timeline, cost management and delivery quality.
• Conduct detailed project planning during initiation and planning phases; monitor execution progress.
• Ensure delivery complies with governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues; escalate and resolve.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders for timely execution.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to meet delivery objectives.
• Support procurement, subcontractor management, contract administration and related commercial activities.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to management and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are executed according to contractual obligations and approved budgets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, implementation plans, and delivery milestones.
• Take ownership of project scope, timeline, cost management, and overall delivery quality.
• Conduct detailed project planning during the initiation and planning phases while closely monitoring execution progress.
• Ensure project delivery complies with internal governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and critical issues, escalating where necessary and ensuring effective resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholders to drive timely project execution.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery objectives.
• Support procurement, subcontractor management, contract administration, and project-related commercial activities.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience managing civil engineering, outside plant (OSP), network deployment, engineering construction, operations, and maintenance delivery projects.
• PMP certification is advantageous.
