Job summary

Pan Engineering Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based engineering contractor specializing in fire protection systems, seeks project engineers with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of experience are welcome, with a focus on cross-functional teamwork and site-based execution.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software is required, along with willingness to work Saturdays when needed.

• Experience in project engineering, preferably with an M&E background.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years' experience.
• Knowledge of codes/standards/regulations related to firefighting systems.
• Willing to work on Saturdays and as required by projects.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willing to work at construction sites and adapt to site conditions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project scheduling, execution, documentation, and tracking until completion.
• Attend the Daily Toolbox Meeting at 7.45 am (Compulsory).
• Coordinate with the project team to audit contractors for contract and ITP compliance.
• Ensure work/docs align with specifications, standards, and drawings.
• Supervise quality assurance and adherence to ITPs.
• Facilitate coordination between subcontractors, customers, and consultants for quality control.
• Perform monthly routine inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with clients and engineering team to define project requirements.
• Be willing to learn new systems and techniques exposed to over time.
• Develop, monitor, and update construction work schedules.
