Job summary

Shine Technology SEA (MY) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead security system and ELV projects from initiation to completion. You will develop schedules, manpower plans and project documentation while coordinating with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

You will oversee installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, turnstiles, and related security systems in data centres or high-security

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in security systems, ELV, or data centre projects.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, turnstiles/mantraps, intrusion alarms or integrated security systems is a plus.
• Experience in data centres or critical high-security environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall execution of security system and ELV projects from start to finish.

• Ensure proper project handover with as-built drawings, test reports and O&M manuals.

Job description

Manage the overall execution of security system and ELV projects from project commencement to completion

Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, work programmes and project documentation

Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams

Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and implement appropriate corrective actions

Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, schedule, quality and budget.

Attend project meetings and provide regular project updates to management and clients.

Security System Works

Manage installation and implementation of data centre security systems, including:

CCTV and video surveillance systems

Access control systems

Door access and security systems

Turnstiles and mantrap systems

Intrusion detection and alarm systems

Security management and system integration

Other ELV/security-related systems

Coordinate with engineering teams on drawings, technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements and material submissions.

Oversee site installation, testing, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting.

Coordinate system testing and commissioning with clients, consultants and relevant contractors.

Ensure proper project handover, including as-built drawings, test reports, O&M manuals and other required documentation.

Site & Safety Management

Coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure works are carried out according to project requirements.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Coordinate manpower, subcontractors and site resources effectively.

Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Building Services, Project Management or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in security systems, ELV, or data centre projects.

Experience in managing CCTV, access control, turnstile/mantrap, intrusion alarm or integrated security systems will be an advantage.

Experience working in data centres or other critical/high-security environments is highly preferred.

Strong project planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of construction/site operations and project documentation.

Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently as well as lead and coordinate project teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and/or project management software is an advantage.
