Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior PMO lead to coordinate PMO activities across multiple banking and IT projects. You will develop plans, monitor progress, and deliver status reports while engaging senior stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in PMO/PM roles within financial services, with strong presentation and governance skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Business, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in PMO, Project Management or coordination.
• Strong experience in banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate PMO activities across multiple banking/IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and overall performance.
• Prepare regular status reports, dashboards and management updates.
• Deliver professional presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with PMs, business users, IT teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure PMO governance, processes and reporting standards.
• Monitor scope, resources, timelines and budget.
• Support risk management and mitigation planning and maintain project documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate PMO activities across multiple banking/IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.

• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide management with insights and recommendations based on project status and performance.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Business, Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in PMO, Project Management or Project Coordination.
• Strong experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, reporting and project management practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Oracle experience is an added advantage.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
