We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate logistics activities across our construction projects. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely, safe and efficient movement, storage and distribution of materials, equipment, tools and resources to support project execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Procurement, Warehouse, Site Operations, Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available at the right location and at the required time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise all project logistics activities from mobilisation through to project completion.
- Coordinate the delivery, receiving, unloading, storage and distribution of construction materials, equipment, tools and other project resources.
- Develop and maintain project logistics plans, delivery schedules and material movement plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, transporters and internal teams to ensure timely delivery to site.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and ensure proper documentation and records are maintained.
- Coordinate site access, delivery slots, unloading areas, storage locations and material handling arrangements.
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight potential shortages, excess materials or delivery delays to the Project Management Team.
- Ensure deliveries are aligned with the project construction programme and work sequence.
- Ensure all delivery orders, goods received notes, material transfer records and relevant documentation are properly maintained.
- Liaise with project teams to prioritise urgent and critical material deliveries.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 4- 5 years of relevant experience in construction project logistics, site logistics, material coordination or a related role.
- Experience working with CIDB Grade G7 construction contractors, or large-scale construction projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction site logistics, material handling, transportation and warehouse coordination.
- Experience coordinating multiple suppliers, subcontractors and transport providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Able to prepare logistics schedules, trackers, reports and documentation.
- You will be assigned to Company Project at Elmina Business Park in Shah Alam, Selangor.
