Job summary

Ocean Vantage Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily logistics activities for engineering, maintenance, project, and operational requirements.

The role will coordinate transportation, deliveries, collections, material movements, and logistics documentation to ensure materials and equipment are delivered to the right location on time. Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, materials coordination, or warehouse operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP, logistics, warehouse, or material management systems.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics activities, including transportation, delivery, collection, and movement of materials, equipment, tools, and other resources.
• Arrange and monitor transportation requirements based on project, maintenance, and operational schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, transporters, Warehouse, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and collection.
• Track delivery status and follow up on delays, shortages, damages, or other logistics issues.
• Coordinate the movement of materials and equipment between warehouses, offices, workshops, and project or operational sites.
• Assist in planning logistics requirements for turnaround, shutdown, maintenance, and project activities.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery orders, transportation arrangements, delivery status, and other logistics documentation.
• Verify delivery details and ensure supporting documents are properly completed and maintained.
• Coordinate with Materials and Warehouse teams to ensure materials and equipment are ready for transportation.
• Monitor vehicle and transportation requirements and coordinate with approved transport providers.
• Prepare logistics status reports and provide updates on delivery schedules and outstanding activities.
• Assist in monitoring logistics costs and ensure cost-effective arrangements where applicable.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with HSSE requirements, Company procedures, and applicable site requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

We are looking for an organized and proactive Logistic Coordinator to support daily logistics activities for engineering, maintenance, project, and operational requirements. The role will coordinate transportation, deliveries, collections, material movements, and logistics documentation to ensure materials, equipment, tools, and resources are delivered to the right location on time.

The successful candidate will work closely with Logistics, Materials, Warehouse, Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, contractors, suppliers, and transport providers to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Experience in logistics, transportation, materials coordination, warehouse operations, or a related field will be an advantage.

Basic understanding of logistics planning, transportation coordination, and material movement.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Experience with ERP, logistics, warehouse, or material management systems will be an advantage.

Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good problem-solving and time management abilities.

Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate logistics records.

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Willing to travel and work at operational or project sites when required.
