OCEAN VANTAGE ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking an organized Logistics Executive to plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics supporting engineering, maintenance, and project needs. You will work with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
The role requires a degree in Engineering and solid MS Excel skills, with experience in ERP or material management systems being advantageous. Travel to operational sites may be required.
We are looking for an organized and proactive Logistic Executive to manage and coordinate logistics activities supporting engineering, maintenance, project, and operational requirements. The role will ensure timely movement and delivery of materials, equipment, tools, and other resources while maintaining proper documentation and coordination with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and logistics service providers.
The successful candidate will monitor logistics schedules, coordinate transportation and deliveries, and ensure logistics activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with Company requirements.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics activities for engineering, maintenance, project, and operational requirements.
Coordinate transportation, delivery, collection, and movement of materials, equipment, tools, and other resources.
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, transporters, warehouse personnel, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and collection.
Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on delays, shortages, damages, or other logistics issues.
Arrange transportation and site deliveries according to project and operational schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transportation arrangements, logistics documents, and supporting records.
Coordinate with Warehouse and Materials teams to ensure proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
Assist in planning logistics requirements for turnaround, shutdown, maintenance, and project activities.
Monitor transportation and logistics costs and support cost-effective logistics arrangements.
Ensure materials and equipment are handled, transported, and delivered safely and in accordance with applicable requirements.
Support the preparation of logistics reports, schedules, and status updates for Management.
Ensure logistics activities comply with HSSE requirements, Company procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Experience in logistics, supply chain, materials management, project coordination, or a related field will be an advantage.
Good understanding of logistics planning, transportation coordination, and material movement.
Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP, logistics, warehouse, or material management systems will be an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
Able to manage multiple logistics activities and meet tight deadlines.
Able to work independently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willing to travel and work at operational or project sites when required.
