Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Lawyer to join our proactive legal team. You will handle project documentation, advise on contracts such as sale and purchase agreements, and ensure regulatory compliance across assigned matters.

The role requires strong drafting, analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as with a team, and a track record in conveyancing. We offer a competitive salary up to RM5,000 and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• LL.B and admitted as Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
• 2–5 years' conveyancing experience; fresh graduates with exposure encouraged.
• Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents such as SPA, Deed of Mutual Covenant, and loan documents.
• Liaise with developers, purchasers, banks, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research and provide opinions when required.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on project progress.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Lawyer to join our legal team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling projects, ensuring all legal documentation, transactions, and regulatory requirements are managed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Providing comprehensive legal advice, services, legal documents in matters of related to the project i.e. Sale and Purchase Agreement, Deed of Mutual Covenant, Loan's documents
• Liaise with developers, purchasers, banks, government agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders
• Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of legal documentation
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions where necessary
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal procedures
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on project progress.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya
• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in conveyancing (freshly admitted lawyers with relevant exposure are encouraged to apply)
• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
