Job summary

Manjit Singh Sachdev is seeking a conveyancing lawyer to manage a range of property transactions and related banking documentation in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves drafting and reviewing documents, liaising with clients, bankers, developers and authorities to drive timely closures.

You will monitor deadlines, ensure regulatory compliance and provide legal advice as needed. The successful candidate will have relevant law qualifications and 3+ years of conveyancing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent with a valid practicing certificate.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin (added advantage).
• More than 3 years of experience in property law or conveyancing; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage conveyancing matters including Developer projects, Subsales, Refinancing, Auction, POT/POC, and Miscellaneous cases.
• Draft, review and prepare legal documentation relating to conveyancing and banking transactions.
• Liaise with clients, bankers, agents, developers and authorities to ensure smooth completion of transactions.
• Monitor timelines and key dates (completion, stamping, CKHT filing, signing appointments) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure proper execution of documentation, follow-ups and file management.
• Assist in providing legal advice and solutions on conveyancing matters when required.
• Produce accurate weekly progress reports and updates to the supervising partner.

Job Requirements :

• 3. More than 3 years of experience in property law or conveyancing, preferably in a law firm or legal department, fresh grade are welcomed to apply
