Job summary

Pembinaan Jaya ZIra Sdn. Bhd invites a proactive Project Intern to support project management and engineering operations from its Headquarters in Malaysia, with site-visits to gain hands-on exposure.

You will help prepare and manage critical documents, coordinate timelines, and assist in communications between HQ, sub-contractors, and site-based engineers, contributing to successful project lifecycles from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Civil Engineering or construction workflows required.
• Strong written and verbal communication for project logs and reports.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required for onsite exposure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic familiarity with project tracking tools or engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project) is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate with HQ and site teams.
• Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, organizing, and maintaining project documents including progress reports and meeting minutes.
• Support Project Manager at HQ in tracking timelines, milestones, and scheduling meetings.
• Visit construction sites to assist with progress tracking and on-site measurements.
• Bridge communication between HQ, sub-contractors, and site engineers for updates.
• Help archive blueprints and project drawings (AutoCAD/BIM) securely.
