Job summary

Eco World in Malaysia, Penang, is seeking a Site Project Implementation Intern to support the project team in coordinating and monitoring site activities. The role offers hands-on exposure to project coordination, site operations, documentation, and progress tracking, with ongoing communication to internal teams and contractors.

You will gain practical experience in site inspections, project reporting, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willing to work at site locations and participate in site visits.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day site project activities.
• Support project progress tracking against timelines and milestones.
• Assist with site inspections, updates, and documentation.
• Prepare project documents, reports, and checklists.
• Support project quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Job SummaryThe Site Project Implementation Intern will support the project team in coordinating and monitoring project implementation activities at site. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to project coordination, site operations, documentation, progress monitoring, and communication with internal teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring day-to-day project implementation activities at site.
• Support the Project/Construction Team in tracking project progress against planned timelines and milestones.
• Assist with site inspections, progress updates, and documentation of site activities.
• Prepare and maintain project-related documents, reports, records, and checklists.
• Assist in project management & construction especially on project quality, specifications, safety & environmental requirements.
• Perform other duties and project-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to work at project/site locations and participate in site visits.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.
