Job summary

MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to assist with office-based design coordination, drafting, and documentation for solar PV and BESS projects.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, you will support drawings, earthworks coordination, and design reports under senior engineers, with occasional site visits to gain practical exposure to large-scale renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong foundation in civil/structural design and construction principles
• Familiarity with AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D or other design software is an advantage
• Willingness to occasionally travel to project sites
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing civil/structural drawings, site layouts, and technical documentation
• Support design coordination for earthworks, access roads, foundations, and drainage systems
• Contribute to design reports, calculations, and compliance checks under guidance of senior engineers
• Assist in project documentation, progress reporting, and design package organisation
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external consultants for smooth project execution
• Provide support for feasibility studies, site assessments, and data collection for new projects
• Participate in occasional site visits or inspections to gain exposure to construction activities

MSR Green Energy Sdn Bhd – Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

MSR-GE, a leader in renewable energy (“RE”) infrastructure, is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support ongoing solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) projects. This internship is primarily design-focused, providing valuable exposure to office-based engineering coordination, drafting, and documentation.

While the role is HQ-based, interns may occasionally join site visits or inspections if required, offering a broader understanding of large-scale RE and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for undergraduates eager to gain practical design experience and develop professional skills in the RE sector.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and reviewing civil/structural drawings, site layouts, and technical documentation

Support design coordination for earthworks, access roads, foundations, and drainage systems

About You
