Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated and diligent intern to join our site team. The intern will assist the Site Supervisor in monitoring construction activities and day-to-day site operations, gaining hands-on experience in site management and project execution.

The role requires a 3-6 month internship (preferably with graduation after internship), working Monday to Saturday, and a valid CIDB license. On-site work in Puchong, Selangor is expected.

Qualifications

• Internship duration: 3-6 months (preferably with graduation after internship)
• Working schedule: Monday to Saturday
• Must possess a valid CIDB license
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English.
• Passionate about learning and gaining hands-on experience in a real site environment.
• Must be willing to work on site (Puchong, Selangor).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Supervisor in monitoring and recording daily site progress.
• Supervise and track sub-contractors’ work performance on-site.
• Review and understand structural and architectural drawings to ensure proper implementation on site.
• Conduct inspections on completed work by sub-contractors and maintain proper documentation.
• Help ensure building materials are correctly stored, handled, and protected.
• Assist in verifying the materials delivered to the site and ensure compliance with specifications and approvals.
• Support in enforcing site safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Report any irregularities or non-conformances to the Site Supervisor or Site Engineer.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Senior Project/Site Engineer.
