Job summary

Modular Scale in Malaysia is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee site resources, liaise with subcontractors, and ensure progress aligns with the construction programme. You will monitor safety, quality, and timely delivery while coordinating with the Site Manager.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in kitchen cabinet, interior design, or construction; fresh graduates may apply. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Kitchen Cabinet, Interior Design, Construction, or related fields. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in supervising construction or interior design projects.
• Able to liaise effectively with clients, project managers, regulatory authorities, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Positive, dynamic, and proactive attitude, with the ability to anticipate project needs, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work assignments efficiently and effectively.
• Knowledge and experience in interior fit-out works will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, control, and monitor all site resources and materials on a weekly basis to ensure optimal allocation and uninterrupted workflow.
• Liaise with subcontractors regarding site specifications, work requirements, and any necessary adjustments.
• Ensure material requisitions are submitted in a timely manner to support the Construction Programme and prevent delays.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy working environment by adhering to and enforcing all relevant safety rules, regulations, and site procedures.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and required timelines through regular site and quality inspections.
• Coordinate with the Site Manager on subcontractor scheduling, material requirements, and ordering to ensure timely site execution and adequate resource availability.
