Job summary

Memang Meow Kopitiam is seeking a responsible and hands-on Project Executive to coordinate fit-out, renovation and maintenance works for our F&B outlets. You will plan, monitor timelines and budgets while ensuring quality workmanship and safety across multiple locations.

The role requires reading basic M&E drawings, Excel/Word proficiency, and the ability to travel between outlets, including night or weekend shifts when needed. A diploma/degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Interior Design, Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in fit-out, renovation or maintenance.
• Experience in F&B, retail outlets or shopping malls is an advantage.
• Able to read basic construction and M&E drawings.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and project documentation.
• Organised, responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Possess a valid driving licence and preferably own transport.
• Willing to travel between outlets and attend night, weekend or emergency works when required.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and maintenance works from planning until completion.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, workmanship and outstanding tasks.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, inspections and defect checking.
• Liaise with contractors, technicians, suppliers, mall management and internal teams.
• Obtain quotations and prepare price comparisons for approval.
• Apply for Permit-to-Work, access passes and required site documents.
• Coordinate emergency and routine repair requests.
• Maintain project reports, drawings, quotations, warranties and maintenance records.
• Follow up on preventive maintenance, defects and warranty claims.
• Assist with project handover and testing of completed works.
