Job summary

Ridge Biomed Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to assist in tender preparation, proposals, quotations, BQ, and technical submissions for turnkey projects.

The role involves reviewing tender documents, coordinating with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams, attending site visits and meetings, and ensuring timely submissions and handovers. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience have an advantage.
• Exposure to tender documents, proposals, BQ, drawings or coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tender/proposal coordination and compilation of documentation.
• Review tender documents, technical specs, drawings and project requirements for submission.
• Liaise and coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, principals and internal departments on project needs.
• Attend site visits, project meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings.
• Follow up on meeting actions, submissions and other outstanding matters within timelines.
• Assist in coordination of awarded turnkey projects including site readiness, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, handover.
• Track project progress, schedules and outstanding matters; provide updates to Management.
• Coordinate with internal departments on procurement, delivery, technical and operational requirements.
• Maintain tender, proposal, project and handover documentation.
• Undertake other project-related duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

To assist in the preparation and coordination of tenders, proposals, quotations, BQ, technical submissions and other project-related documentation.

To review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings and project requirements, and compile the necessary technical and commercial information for submission.

To liaise and coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, principals and internal departments on project requirements, technical matters and documentation.

To attend site visits, project meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings with customers, consultants, contractors, technology principals and internal teams as required.

To follow up on meeting action items, project requirements, submissions and other outstanding matters within the required timeline.

To assist in the coordination of awarded turnkey projects, including site readiness, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, project documentation and handover activities.

To track project progress, schedules and outstanding matters, and provide regular updates to Management.

To coordinate with relevant internal departments on procurement, delivery, technical and operational requirements for assigned projects.

To maintain proper and updated tender, proposal, project and handover documentation.

To undertake other project-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree specifically in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or another related engineering discipline.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project engineering, tender/proposal preparation or related fields will have an added advantage.

Exposure to tender documentation, proposals, BQ, technical specifications, engineering drawings or project coordination will be an added advantage.

Able to understand and interpret technical specifications, drawings, project requirements and engineering-related documentation, and participate effectively in technical and project coordination discussions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant engineering/project software will be an added advantage.

Meticulous, organised and proactive, with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work within project deadlines.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with a good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken, and able to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Possess own transport and a valid Class D driving licence.

Willing to travel and attend site visits and project meetings when required.
