Job summary

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. • English and Bahasa Malaysia language proficiency.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site.

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Develop and manage: Create and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Work with engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and manage risks: Proactively identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress: Ensure that work meets deadlines and stays within budget.
• Provide technical expertise: Offer problem-solving support to resolve project-related issues.
• Prepare reports and documentation: Communicate project status, challenges, and successes through reports and presentations.
• Document project activities: Maintain accurate records of project activities and manage project documentation.

Who are they looking for?

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the engineering/construction industry. Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD. Fast learner, able to work independently or as part of a project team.
• Language proficiency: Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia. Language proficiency is essential for effective communication and collaboration within the team and with clients.
• Additional experience: Experience in Energy Management Systems (EMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and HVAC is an added advantage.
• Travel requirements: Willingness to travel and work on-site based on project requirements.
