MYS ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Engineer to own project execution from planning through completion. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, coordinate with designers, contractors, and subcontractors, and drive performance while managing budgets and schedules.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 1–3 years’ relevant experience, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a drive to deliver high-quality engineering projects? MYS ENGINEERING is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Engineer who can take ownership of project execution and ensure successful delivery from planning through completion.

You will support and oversee the end-to-end execution of engineering projects - coordinating technical activities, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Beyond execution, you will play a key role in driving project performance, resolving site challenges, and ensuring seamless coordination across all stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution

Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation actions

Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance and project quality standards

Prepare and present project status reports and updates to stakeholders in a timely manner

Provide technical support and guidance to project team members throughout project lifecycle

Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols at all project stages

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience

Experience in project engineering, preferably in the electrical field

Strong understanding of electrical engineering standards, regulations, and safety requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management tools, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management

Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills

Good communication skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines

Willingness to travel based on project requirements

Team player with strong work ethics and proactive attitude
