Job summary

Nestcon Builders Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor is seeking experienced Project Engineers and Site Engineers to support our high-rise construction projects. You will coordinate from planning to delivery, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and ensure schedules and quality requirements are met.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 3 years' experience in construction project management or site engineering, with strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or site engineering.
• Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations in Malaysia.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.

About the role

Nestcon Builders Sdn Bhd is seeking for experienced Project Engineers and Site Engineers to join our dynamic construction team based in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. These positions play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our high-rise building construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for managing, planning and coordinating the implementation of construction projects from start to finish.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare, monitor, evaluate and update project schedules.
• Manage project budgets, monitor progress, and identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Controlling of all project drawings and documents.
• To issue RFI, correspondence letters to all relevant parties.
• Ensure all works are carried out based on established procedures, contract requirement and specifications.
• Attend project meetings with consultants and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on site.
• Support Project Manager on timely basis.

What we're looking for

• Must possess Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or site engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and industry regulations in Malaysia
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels
• Problem-solving abilities with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience with scheduling, budgeting and resource management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
• Experience with high-rise building will be an added advantage
