Job summary

Winway Interconnect Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang invites an engineer to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs, and to work on engineering BOMs based on customer BOMs. The role demands strong product knowledge and the ability to propose optimal solutions to customers.

Experience with wire harness assembly and data analysis is valued. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor in Engineering and 3–5 years in manufacturing, with good English communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics engineering.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in cable and connector industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of engineering process control and improvement.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Strong data analysis and statistical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret Engineering drawings & BOM.
• Work on Engineering BOM based on customer’s BOM.
• Develop strong product knowledge and propose best solution to customer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical or Electrical & Electronics engineering or equivalent.

At least 3 to 5 years' of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.

Candidates with experiences in cable and connector industry will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of engineering process control and improvement activities.

Good verbal and written communication in English.

Good in the skill of data analysis and statistical aptitude.

Excellent attention to detail.
