Job summary

WINWAY INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGY (M) SDN BHD is seeking an engineer to lead First Article builds for new products. You will guide operators, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely product builds while reading drawings, schematics, BOMs and work instructions.

The role requires IPC620 knowledge, strong data analysis, and excellent English communication. Experience in cable/connector manufacturing is advantageous, with emphasis on process control and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical or Electrical & Electronics engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years' of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Candidates with experiences in cable and connector industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of engineering process control and improvement activities.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Good in the skill of data analysis and statistical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide operators in First Article build for new products/projects
• Assist and solve technical issues during first article build
• Ensure product build within specified turn-around time
• Able to read Engineering drawings, schematic diagram, BOM & work instructions
• Good understanding of IPC620 requirements & acceptance
• Handles technical communications with customers and suggest best practices
• Perform engineering change and update relevant technical documents
• Maintain correct usage of BOM in system.
