Job summary

See Song & Sons Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Civil Project Engineer to oversee civil, marine, and dredging works on-site in Jelutong, Penang. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree or diploma with 3–6 years of relevant experience and is proficient in construction

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in civil/marine/dredging construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural works, marine infrastructure (jetty, quay wall, breakwater) or dredging operations.
• Familiar with construction drawings, method statements, and project scheduling tools.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with hands‑on experience in executing and coordinating civil, marine, and dredging works. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, supervising, and ensuring smooth project execution on‑site, while meeting quality, safety, and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day site operations for civil and marine construction works.

Monitor project progress, site activities, and ensure works are carried out according to design, specifications, and schedule.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues.
