Job summary

The role requires hands-on site execution, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and preparation of method statements and progress reports. Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years' relevant experience is preferred.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer with hands-on experience in executing and coordinating civil, marine, and dredging works. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, supervising, and ensuring smooth project execution on-site, while meeting quality, safety, and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations for civil and marine construction works.

Monitor project progress, site activities, and ensure works are carried out according to design, specifications, and schedule.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues.

Prepare method statements, work programs, and progress reports.

Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Liaise with procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Support permit applications, documentation, and project handover processes.

Attend site meetings and provide engineering solutions when required.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

2-3 years of experience in civil/marine/dredging construction projects

Strong knowledge of structural works, marine infrastructure (e.g., jetty, quay wall, breakwater), or dredging operations.

Familiar with construction drawings, method statements, and project scheduling tools.

Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Willing to work on-site or at remote project locations.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
