Job summary

See Song & Sons Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to plan, supervise, and coordinate civil, marine and dredging works on site, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

The role requires hands-on site execution, coordination with consultants and subcontractors, and preparation of method statements and progress reports. Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years' relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in civil/marine/dredging construction projects.
• Familiar with construction drawings, method statements, and scheduling tools.
• Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations for civil and marine works.
• Monitor progress, site activities, and ensure works follow design, specifications, and schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Prepare method statements, work programs, and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure HSE compliance.
• Liaise with procurement for timely materials delivery.
• Attend site meetings and provide engineering solutions when required.
