Job summary

Aimflex Systems Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking a Project Engineer fresh graduate to join our engineering team. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering technical solutions across diverse projects, while learning from experienced engineers.

You will develop project documentation, support site visits, and contribute to continuous improvement, with supervision and collaborative teamwork to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (new graduates encouraged).
• Solid understanding of engineering principles applicable to project work.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively and under supervision.
• Willingness to learn and develop in project engineering.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Reliability and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
• Preferred: internship experience or involvement in engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating engineering projects from conception through to completion.
• Support senior engineers in design, development, and implementation of technical solutions.
• Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies for project components.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including drawings, specs, and reports.
• Monitor progress and track milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders on requirements.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor activities.
• Identify and elevate project risks and issues to supervisors.
• Support quality assurance and ensure compliance with specs and regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.

About the role

Aimflex Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Johor. This is a full-time position designed for candidates who are ready to launch their engineering careers, including fresh graduates keen to develop their expertise in project engineering. In this role, you will work on diverse engineering projects, contributing to the planning, execution, and delivery of technical solutions that drive our business forward. You will collaborate with experienced team members and senior engineers whilst gaining practical experience in project management and technical implementation across various engineering disciplines.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the planning and coordination of engineering projects from conception through to completion
• Support senior engineers in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions
• Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies for assigned project components
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports
• Monitor project progress and track key milestones to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor construction or installation activities
• Identify and elevate project risks and issues to senior team members
• Support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (recent graduates and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong foundational knowledge of engineering principles and practices relevant to project work
• Proficiency with engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management applications
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and under supervision
