Versa Manufacturing Sdn Bhd invites a fresh mechanical engineering graduate to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru. You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems, working with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience.

You will develop 3D drawings using CAD tools, collaborate with project managers, and support manufacturing processes while learning to manage projects and improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (fresh graduate or soon to graduate).
• Strong grounding in mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing concepts.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, UG NX.
• Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Develop and prepare 3D drawings and technical documentation using CAD software.
• Translate client requirements into practical mechanical solutions with engineers/project managers.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide progress updates.
• Assist in project handling, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Perform line balancing analyses to improve workflow and manpower utilization.
• Support process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare reports and technical documentation for stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.

About the role

Versa Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in mechanical engineering within a supportive and innovative environment. Based in Johor Bahru District, Johor, this is a full-time position where you will contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of mechanical systems and components. As a fresh graduate, you will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience whilst developing your technical expertise and professional skills.

What you'll be doing

Assist in developing and preparing 3D drawings and technical documentation using CAD software (SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, UG NX, AutoCAD).

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate client requirements into practical solutions.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs, provide updates, and resolve technical queries.

Assist in project handling, including planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and reporting status.

Assist in conducting line balancing analysis to improve workflow efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and optimize manpower utilization.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, recently completed or expected to be completed

Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and materials science

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, UG NX.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior staff

Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a manufacturing environment

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production techniques

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management tools

Basic project management knowledge with ability to handle multiple tasks.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
