Job summary

GLOWTEC ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking an Electrical/ Electronics engineer to execute project plans, coordinate with clients and site teams, and handle documentation. The role requires strong electrical knowledge, drawing interpretation, and safety awareness, with OT allowances and bonus potential.

Fresh graduates are welcome for training; own transport is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is desirable, with English and Bahasa Malaysia fluency valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronics.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems; reading drawings and safety procedures.
• Able to communicate clearly and explain complex issues.
• Familiar with MS Office and AutoCAD.
• 1–4 years experience; fresh graduates welcome for training.
• Must have own transport.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin an added advantage.

Job description

• To perform project execution, planning, supervising and controlling project activities.
• To prepare project documentation (detail engineering, drawing, report, claim sheet and any other related documents).
• To coordinate with client, site teams and subcontractor in ensuring smooth execution of projects
• To perform T&C and troubleshooting with other colleagues for electrical and control work.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with schedule and safety requirements

Requirements:

• Must possess a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical or Electronics
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical systems, proficiency in reading technical drawings, and knowledge of safety procedures.
• Communicate and explain complex issues and work to establish understanding
• Be fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter- discipline requirements, including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues
• At least 1-4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Fresh graduate is also welcome to apply as training and guidance will be provided from senior staff.
• Multi-tasking, work independently, sense of urgency and self-motivated person.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess own transport
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Familiar with MS Office and AutoCAD software.

Overtime and Allowances: Eligible for overtime (OT) claims, fixed allowances, or site Bonuses: 13 th month bonus and annual performance-based bonuses

Technical Skill Enhancement: Opportunities for hands-on installation and troubleshooting in advanced industrial systems, including motor starters, cable tray, trunking, conduit and cables installation

Strong Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with various electrical system, eg: HV & LV system, motor starter system, PLC and instrumentation system and etc.

Leadership Experience: Gain experience in leading teams, supervising installation projects, and managing maintenance workflows.
