Job summary

Ingenious Works International (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) for an outstation project in Johor. You will support design review, installation, testing and handover, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to read drawings and work

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical engineering or project execution experience.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, specs and standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional teams.

Ingenious Works International (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and capable Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our team for an outstation project in Johor.

In this full-time role, you will be involved in the execution of electrical engineering works, supporting project activities from design review and installation to testing, commissioning, and project handover. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the required quality standards.

Job Description

Support the execution of electrical engineering projects from design review, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, to project handover.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Prepare and submit technical documentation, shop drawings, material submittals, reports, and project updates.

Assist in resolving technical and site issues, managing project risks, and supporting cost and schedule control.

Participate in site inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and quality assurance processes.

Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, or project execution is preferred.

Good knowledge of electrical systems, project execution, and relevant industry standards.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to read and understand electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.

Willing to work on an outstation project and be based at the project site as required.

Job Location

The successful candidate will be required to work at the project site in Johor for the duration of the project, subject to project requirements.
