Job summary

AVS Alliance Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate engineering and project activities from planning through completion. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will review drawings, coordinate with clients and internal teams, supervise site work and prepare technical submissions. The role requires 2–3 years’ experience and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant project/site engineering experience.
• Experience in construction, engineering, façade, metal fabrication or related industries will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, project planning and site coordination.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review project drawings, specifications, technical documents and work schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Supervise and monitor site work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, progress updates and technical submissions.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and equipment requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site problems promptly.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate project-related discussions.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are carried out according to schedule.
• Ensure all works comply with quality, safety, health and environmental requirements.
