Job summary

Astinas Construction & Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily operations from pre-construction to completion. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure timely project execution, while reviewing drawings and specifications for compliance and safety.

Responsibilities include site visits, issue resolution, milestone tracking, and assisting with reports and handover activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil/engineering or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in development or construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site operations.
Familiar with local authority requirements and building regulations.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking software.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily operations from pre-construction to completion.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with approved plans.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality and safety standards.
Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.
Track and report on project milestones, progress updates, and potential risks.
Assist in the preparation of project reports, documentation, and correspondences.
Ensure all works comply with regulatory guidelines, permits and approvals.
Support the handover process and project close-out activities.
