Job summary

Modular Group Sabah Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. You will supervise sites, prepare drawings and technical submissions, and coordinate with contractors and the project team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of site/Construction Engineer experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Construction/Site Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction standards and safety requirements.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, coordination and execution.
• Monitor site progress, project schedules and work quality.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Assist with project tenders and ongoing project documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, QS and project team.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, safety requirements and regulations.
