Job summary

CHS Interior Decoration seeks a Project Engineer in Malaysia to coordinate interior fit-out and renovation projects from planning to completion. The role offers flexible hours and a competitive RM3,000–RM5,500 monthly salary.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out, can read drawings, and are proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office. You will liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely, quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of interior fit-out or renovation project experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction/shop drawings.
• Willingness to travel and have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects: Monitor project progress, site activities and subcontractor work to support smooth execution.
• Manage stakeholders: Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality: Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
• Coordinate project teams: Work with Design, Production, Quantity Surveying and Site teams to support successful delivery.
• Monitor progress: Track project timelines, report updates to management and prepare site reports and project documentation.
• Resolve site issues: Address project and site matters promptly to support timely completion.
• Support project planning: Assist with material coordination, project planning and site measurements.
• Supervise site activities: Follow up on site progress and coordinate work across project stakeholders.
