Job summary

ISTIQ Noise Control Sdn Bhd is seeking a project professional to plan, schedule and manage multiple projects. You will coordinate with design teams, engineers and contractors to ensure technical specs are met and implemented.

You will monitor progress, report to management and clients, and manage budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Travel to site for visits is possible.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management methods, tools and best practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management with multiple projects.

Job description

Planning and scheduling project activities, resources and milestones whilst managing timelines and ensuring adherence to project deadlines

Coordinating with design teams, engineers and contractors to ensure technical specifications are met and implemented correctly

Monitoring project progress and preparing regular status reports for management and clients, highlighting any risks or deviations from the project plan

Managing project budgets, tracking expenditure and identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality

Liaising with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify that work meets established standards and specifications

Identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks, developing contingency plans where necessary

Documenting project information, maintaining comprehensive records and ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant regulatory requirements

Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to source materials and services efficiently

Supporting the proposal and tender process by providing technical input and feasibility assessments

What we're looking for

A relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally within the engineering, construction or manufacturing sectors

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations within the engineering or construction industry

Experience with noise control, acoustics or related technical disciplines is highly desirable

Willingness to undertake site visits and occasional travel as required by project needs
