Job summary

Milieu Solar Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Project Engineer to drive commercial, industrial and residential solar projects from concept to completion.

You will support sales with technical input, coordinate procurement and scheduling, and maintain thorough project documentation and progress reporting. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or renewable energy, at least 1 year in project management, and strong English; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience, preferably in solar/renewable energy.
• Proficiency with Office, AutoCAD, PV simulation software and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Offer technical support for sales, proposals, and client meetings.
• Coordinate project activities, procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Create checklists for reviewing completed solar PV installations for standards.
• Maintain project documentation, designs, plans and specifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Offer technical support for sales, proposals, and potential client meetings.

Coordinate project activities, manage procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project milestones are met within budget.

Create comprehensive checklists for reviewing or inspecting completed solar PV installation projects, ensuring they adhere to standards and available installation guidelines.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including designs, plans, and technical specifications.

Provide daily updates on project progress to the relevant stakeholders.

Track progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate any delays or changes in project scope.

Prepare and submit reports detailing completed tasks, project milestones, and any outstanding issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Possess minimum qualifications of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in project management, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sector.

Possess proficiency in Office, AutoCAD, PV simulation software, and MS Project is a prerequisite.

Possess essential skills including strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

An individual with a positive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Possess proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory, and proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous.
